I could not believe all the writing was hand-crafted. Every piece of work was so beautiful that I still think of it a year later. Because of her fantastic work on this wedding, I got Brenda Griffin to do my birth announcements so thank you Catherine for introducing her work to me! Now i can't have an event without her doing the invitations!

This is what I always imagined my wedding to be...outdoors and in sync with nature. I'm a New England girl so I'm familiar with the richness and serenity of a lush, green garden...although they pale in comparison to the South!

This is the most stunning use of purple/fuscia/pink in an event that I have ever seen.
Not overly girly, the colour usage still gives off a classy, professional aesthetic that does not scream circus.
Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures.

I love your blog!!! This post totally made my day! sooo pretty! I love the woven chargers and the purple glassware.
Thomas Davis is a professional football player in the NFL and Kelly is a recent graduate of Winthrop University. The reception was held at the {Westin} in Charlotte, NC. Kelly’s stunning black dress was custom made by {Maggie Sottero} with black Swarovski crystals. How beautiful is she!? Thomas had the couple’s initials carved into thier wedding bands and inlaid with diamonds. Custom Aisle runner by {Customized Wedding Creations}. A few fun details: Kelly sang her vows to Thomas. The theme of their wedding was “The Royal Ball”. The walls were draped with rich red fabric and custom lighting. The room was filled with crystals and the bride’s bouquet had cascading crystals–flowers by the {Flower Diva}. The guest’s names were written on the cake by {Nona’s Sweets}. Mini cakes were served to every guest. The hit R&B group {Jagged Edge} performed at the reception with special guest {Mannie Fresh}. The dance floor was custom designed and flashed red, black and white squares.
Their wedding will be featured on {Platinum Weddings on the WE Channel} this fall! Congrats, Thomas + Kelly! Fabulous photography by {Cristsey Rowe}. Thank you for sending us this fun wedding, Critsey!

Gorgeous! This wedding is outstanding and the bride's dress just makes it! I love that she did something so bold and untraditional. Jagged Edge at the wedding - that takes it over the top to what we all think of celebrity weddings. Beautiful images, Critsey!

Her dress is so unique. Not many brides could pull that off, but she more than pulled it off! It's perfect! These guests must have had a blast. I really like the vases on the tables... they almost look like they are frosted in a mocha platinum.
