Todd Pellowe really does such great work and, lucky for you, we have more images to share from Mallori + Tory’s Kentucky shindig, planned and produced by Lauren Chitwood of LC Events!  We think it is especially sweet that the couple used the very same caterer and wedding cake baker (All the Way Shoppe’s own Linda Aldrige) who catered Mallori’s parents’ big day!  And, folks, the undeniably great time the newlyweds and their guests had at the tented reception despite the evening rain proves the weather on your wedding day isn’t nearly as important as the people there to celebrate with you.  Happy weekend!

Our favorite detail of the wedding was:  Our favorite detail was, of course, the country-style horse and carriage that brought my bridesmaids and me from the house to the ceremony site. Standing behind the carriage, my father and I waited until all my bridesmaids were down the aisle. On cue, the carriage ran off and we were left standing there at the end of the aisle. It was perfect!

Were there any special family traditions you included in the wedding? Tory and I chose the same caterer who also had catered my parent’s wedding twenty-five years ago.

The most unexpected event on our wedding day was:  My father surprised us with fireworks during the reception. They were a beautiful and wonderful way to end the evening!

Three adjectives that describe the day are:  Carefree, rustic and elegant.
