NEW HEADERS! Our new headers were designed by the very talented Brooke Forry of Curious & Company Creative. (The rest of our site design comes courtesy of the equally talented folks at Flosites!) We loved our old header, but because it was Flash, it made it tricky for our readers who read SW via an iPod or an iPhone… or any other fancy technological device. After seeing Brooke’s work in V3 (she illustrated the “Choose Your Own Southern Wedding” feature!), we knew she’d do a spectacular job with our header. And she did! Thank you, Brooke! We also have to give a shout-out to calligrapher Kathryn Murray, whose work graces our print editions and now, our site!

ENHANCED POSTS As you might have noticed, when you roll over images in the blog, you now have the option of saving, Facebooking, or tweeting each one. Try it out! You can also tweet an entire post, or like it on Facebook. In the real wedding and editorial galleries, you’ll notice extra information pops up when you scroll over images — think of it as the blog equivalent of our mini conversation blurbs in V3!

INDIVIDUAL BLOGS Lara, Katharine, and I are definitely individuals, and we definitely have three different perspectives on weddings. (And what constitutes a balanced diet, but let’s not go there!) Accordingly, we thought y’all might enjoy hearing from each of us individually. The real wedding and giveaway goodness will continue right here on the main blog, but we all also have fun ideas up our sleeves for our new mini, personalized blogs. For your organizational pleasure, we’re also planning to publish a round-up of all the individual posts at the end of every week.

And that’s just about that! Before we quit taking up your time and let you go explore on your own, however, we HAVE to give a HUGE thank you to Ross, Alina, Dima, Jenny, and the entire team at Flosites. Seriously, ladies and gents, they are INSANE. Pretty much everything you see on this site is custom and made just for us.
