Happy Halloween!
One of my favorite things about Southern weddings is seeing bridesmaids rock adorable dresses and cowboy boots. Somehow Southern ladies can beautifully pull off formal attire with their own down-to-earth style. When I saw the jewelry from Peach Tree Lane, I was immediately reminded of this perfect balance. Their pieces combine the pretty shapes and details of some of our favorite flowers with down-to-earth and whimsical colors and construction.
Whitney loved Peach Tree Lane’s chrysanthemum necklace and I couldn’t help but fall for their lily flower rings. The bright colors mixed with our favorite neutral tones won us over!
Peach Tree Lane does earring sets, too! They’re perfect for bridesmaid gifts or to add to the ensemble on your big day. The best part? You know they’ll look cute topping off a cowboy-booted outfit.
To Enter: Visit Peach Tree Lane’s shop and explore. Then come back here and tell us what your favorite item is and how you’d incorporate it into your Southern style. Want another entry? Tweet “I entered to win a Peach Tree Lane earring set from @iloveswmag!” – let leave another comment here telling us you did so!
Win: Two sets of Peach Tree Lane’s mustard, grey and ivory flower post earrings, perfect to present to your bridesmaids!

Cuuute (and affordable!) accessories! I think I'd choose a multi-pack for my girls, like the "Peachy Keen" hairpin, rose studs & chrysanthemum ring set. I've loved the Southern style to allow girls to choose their dresses based on color schemes, so a multi-pack like that would allow the same continuity-without-being-identical feel.

I love the Cream-Ivory Flower Post Stud Earrings, Vintage Style-Honeysuckle. This is the perfect color for any bridesmaid dress and well, any occasion whatsoever. You can never go wrong with a stud earring and the honeysuckle just adds that extra Southern flare!

My favorite item is the Mum and Rose Flower Post Studs in Cream, Pale Pink, Lavender...they are so soft and pretty! My colors are pink and purple and my bridesmaids are wearing pink matching dresses. There are four of them so I would order two sets and have 2 wear the pink and two wear the lavendar ones. The flower girl and I would both wear the cream ones....so cute! I love a little bit of mismatching.

Oh my stars, what a wonderful week here in the office! Thank y’all so so so much for the amazing feedback on our latest issue and for encouraging us through the years. I just don’t have words big enough to say thank you to you, dear readers, for helping us grow like wild honeysuckle! We’re all feeling so grateful as we finish this exciting week!
If you are new around these parts, welcome! We’re so glad to have you and hope you’ll sit a spell with us. If you just picked up your first copy of Southern Weddings on newsstands this week or got one of our many pre-orders via the hilarious and hard-workin’ SWPS, you may know there is a little biscuit in my oven. I’ve reached the nine-months mark, so Baby Grace is set to arrive any day now! The current view from my desk…
I’m about to set off into maternity leave land, so I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you! As a tiny office, all of your warm words and encouragement really do mean the world to us. We truly love y’all and love dreaming up new fun things to inspire your big day plans! There are so many exciting things in the works while I’m on maternity leave. Emily, Whitney, Marissa, Nicole and Sierra have all sorts of Southern surprises in store!
Photo above by my dear friend, Nancy Ray. It’s been a blessed nine months, y’all! And this week, feeling so much love from you all about our office baby, V4, has been the cherry on top! The wonderful SW ladies will fill you in when Grace arrives and you can always stay posted on my personal blog, daily tumblr and twitter. Thank you to the moon and back!
