When this three-part beauty popped up on Bobbi + Mike’s blog, we immediately snapped it up to share with y’all! Meredith + Jake have a great story. As their photographers summed up, they didn’t want an urban setting, their clothing choices took tall grasses and fields out of the equation, Meredith has a 50′s vibe (and is gorgeous), and Jake is a ridiculously talented chef who trained in France. With that criteria in mind, they ended up scouting out several fabulous locations. The first was a soybean field. So Southern, no?
Next they headed to an airplane hanger. 50′s groove? Check! (And that last shot is just to-die-for. I almost want to put it on MY wall!)
Lastly, the pair headed to a kitchen so that Jake could prove his chef skills. After all, he was named one of Food and Wine’s 30 Best Chefs Under 30 (really! Isn’t that cool?)!
Be sure to check out a few more images on Bobbi + Mike’s blog!
Thanks so much, Meredith + Jake, for sharing your session with us! We can’t wait to see the wedding!

Sydney Dawn, January 25, 2011 6:16 pm reply The black and white doesn't do it for me. I mean, they are beautiful pictures and beautiful people but it seems too glamourous for me, I want engagement pictures to be realistic and down to earth. Just my opinion though.... :)
