Real Weddings Gallery Ashley + Patrick

Ashley looked poised and feminine with her not-too-perfect curly bun and ethereal Vera Wang dress. Flanked by her 10 bridesmaids in J.Crew, she was ready to say “I do” to Patrick under a trellis of vines and white hydrangea. The arched ceremony arrangement in the middle of the Historic Rucker Place was beautiful and followed through with the elegant garden theme that the couple’s invitations suggested. Alabama newlyweds, Ashley + Patrick know Southern hospitality! They served up shrimp and grits, sweet tea, and root beer floats all night, as guests weaved in and out of the garden, rooms, and double wrap-around porches (be still my heart!). A Motown band played while guests ate and partied. At the end of the night, Ashley + Patrick made their getaway down the porch of the house as they ran through a line of sparklers.
