Sometimes I look at the images for these Real Weddings and I don’t know how to start talking about them. Take Beverly + Curtis’s wedding, for example. Their green and white color scheme and pecan orchard setting can’t justly describe how intimate, yet grand, their ceremony was. The tall trees of the orchard enveloped the bridal party and guests while providing a vast amount of space for their vows to be heard. It’s an appropriate venue for B + C’s wedding, since Beverly’s father planted the orchard the year she was born. Even more nods to the family’s Southern roots come in with the flowers. Beverly’s beautiful bouquet and the groomsmen’s boutonnieres included cotton bolls, which subtly highlighted her father’s cotton farming background. Can y’all just pause with me for a second to gawk at this gorgeous tent?? The soft white folds accented by green paper lanterns knock me off my feet. Just wait until you see the photos of this tent when it’s lit up at night! We saved it for last, like all the best things. Soft lighting appeared in Beverly + Curtis’s wedding in some of our favorite spots, like chandeliers and table votives, but also in some unexpected ones, like hanging for the flower arrangements. We love the effect paired with bold table linens and lush amounts of flowers. The green blooms topped off the newlywed’s cake, too. Beverly asked her baker to make it look like her mama baked it and we think the end result is perfection! Thanks again to Josh Moates from Kim Box Photography for sharing these gorgeous photos!
