Molly + Ben worried about their guests becoming stressed over travel plans to their Christmastime wedding, but the December fete turned out to be a blessing! The wedding got guests in the Christmas spirit and we have to agree. Photographer Meredith Perdue captured the day beautifully. Gorgeous poinsettias and wreaths decorated the church and provided a romantic backdrop for Molly + Ben to say their vows. Molly made for a beautiful winter bride in Priscilla of Boston, but my favorite parts of her ensemble were the meaningful accessories. The pearl earrings she wore were a wedding gift from Ben, her lace veil was her mother’s and the handkerchief wrapped around Molly’s bouquet was made from the fabric of her mother’s wedding dress and embroidered in blue with the wedding dates of her parents and siblings. Doesn’t that make you love this wedding even more?? The sparkly, winter gorgeousness continues with Molly + Ben’s romantic and warm Christmas reception. String lights and candles decorated the barn, which was even complete with a fully decorated Christmas tree! Just in case guests started to feel a bit of that winter chill, hot ginger toddies were served in addition to the Southern food fare at the buffet station. Molly kept warm in a white fur stole. I must say, it looks quite fab as the newlyweds made their way through confetti and into their horse-drawn carriage!
