How I got into weddings: After graduating from the College of Charleston, I worked for a real estate development company as an assistant leasing agent. In that position, I planned several large corporate functions which prompted a few friends to ask for help with planning their own weddings. I instantly got wedding fever!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? They are classy but unpretentious.
Favorite part of a wedding day? Bringing the Bride her bouquet and telling her it’s time for the ceremony. There is so much emotion in the room it’s palatable. It’s amazing.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Try to relax and enjoy your engagement a bit. Focus on what’s really important to you and let your vendors do their jobs. It will save you so much stress and honestly, the wedding will turn out better!
Dream travel destination? South of France
Favorite Southern city? Charleston, SC. Seriously, there’s not one city better than this one.
Early bird or night owl? Early bird. Chirp, Chirp!
Pie bar or red velvet cake? That’s tough, but I’d pick red velvet cake
Pottery Barn or Anthropologie? That’s tough too! I’m honestly a little of both.
