Please call me Cyn, all my friends do! Documenting a couple’s love is exhilarating and such an honor. Because every couple is unique I make sure to approach every wedding with a fresh eye to ensure my photos reflect them and their love 100%. More often than not you will find that I meet my clients for the first time as strangers over a cup of coffee or glass of wine…fast forward to their wedding day and you’ll find me bear-hugging them just before their reception exit. I seriously love my clients that much. Ultimately I want to tell a love story by capturing raw emotions and creating romantic, soft images that are full of love and gorgeous light. For me, It doesn’t get much better than mixing my passion for art, adoration of people and my obsession for love.
Where you call home: North Carolina…even though I currently live in Virginia
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: That my dreams have come true in love, life and work. Not only was I so lucky to have found the love of my life (yep, I am a hopeless romantic) but I also get to create amazing friendships with some pretty awesome people because of my job. I love people and I adore art…and I get to mix the two every single day. Pretty darn lucky [and so very thankful] if I say so myself.
Location/coverage: Based in NC and VA but travel all over.
Pie bar or red velvet: Both. With a scoop of ice cream on the side
Favorite part of a wedding day: Vows. The actual wedding day tends to be a bit hectic, but during the vows, we’re forced to slow down, take a deep breathe and take it all in. Ultimately this is what the day is all about; the promise of love and commitment to the one person you can’t live without.
Early bird or night owl: Total night owl.
Succulents or peonies: Peonies. I had them all over at my own wedding
