How we got into weddings: We love filming weddings. It’s why we started Inkspot Crow Films to begin with! Philip and I didn’t have a wedding cinematographer document our marriage because we’d never seen an artful wedding film and knew we wouldn’t want a “traditional” wedding video. The photos of our wedding day are gorgeous but nothing captured the music, readings, laughter and toasts the way a good film would have. So we’re making it our mission to deliver wedding films you’ll want to watch again and again!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Hire a cinematographer! Even if you don’t hire us, make sure you work with someone to capture the sights and sounds of the day, because looking back, it feels like a blur!
Dream travel destination? Emerald Lake Lodge in the Canadian Rockies
Favorite Southern cities? Asheville, NC and Nashville, TN
Pie bar or red velvet cake? Pie bar for sure. Especially if it’s peach season!
Succulents or peonies? The delightful peony: it just looks like a celebration!
