I help to tell a story through hair, makeup and wardrobe that will be seen over and over again for years to come. What I do in my business is enhance what God gave someone. My clients are complimented not on their makeup, but on how beautiful they look! With over 20 years of experience and training in Hollywood, you can be assured you’re in the hands of someone you can trust. I keep up with the latest trends and know how to use a minimum number of products to produce amazing results! Together with my clients, we create fresh, timeless beauty. I bring a love for what I do that makes a beautiful addition to someone’s “Once In A Lifetime”.
Name(s): Jennifer Ericksen
Where you call home: Home is NC, but I am a coast to coast girl. I grew up on the west coast and now own a second home in Hilton Head, SC, so I love it all! To me, home is where the heart is!
Location/coverage: I do weddings from coast to coast as well as the Caribbean!
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: I’ve worked with celebrities, presidents, authors, race car drivers, musicians, magazines, TV, film, and most everything in between! Next to my two kids, my favorite achievement is that I can use my time and God-given talents to make the windows of the heart (the eyes!) shine brighter on a beautiful bride’s wedding day!
Pie bar or red velvet cake? I’m such a sucker for red velvet cake!
Peonies or succulents? Definitely a peonies girl. Frilly, large, pastel, fragrant, ruffles of beauty!
Anthropologie or Pottery Barn? Anthropologie all the way. Effortless, unkempt, natural and creative.
Favorite Southern city? Charleston is one of my faves. The ambiance, the food, and the cute little college guys jogging in the evenings… is that okay to say? Hilton Head, too — miles of sand for your piggies, biking with the wind in your hair, and a marina full of yachts near the Sea Pines Lighthouse to complete the true Southern experience!
Early bird or night owl? I fix the bloodshot eyes of the night owls.
Best advice for brides and grooms? I have been married for 25 years now, so I can share from a bit of experience! My best advice for brides and grooms is you get what you put into a marriage. Don’t expect perfection, but shoot for it, and you’ll get close! Hold each others hand tightly through the peaks and valleys of life, and you’ll walk into the sunset hand in hand.
