Rustic, elegant, and charming.

Kingston Stables is nestled in the North Georgia mountains on the shores of Lake Rabun, and offers acres of lush natural landscape for your elegantly rustic outdoor wedding. Formerly a horse farm, the historic estate grounds include the original horse barn, vintage stacked-stone walls, towering pines and hemlock, a bubbling spring-fed creek, gently rolling hills and a lakefront lawn set in a private cove.

We specialize in customized all-inclusive wedding packages with customized design and personal details for up to 200 guests, April-October.

Where you call home: Atlanta, GA
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: Within just a few months of opening our doors, our weddings were featured by some of the hippest wedding and style experts around: Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, Southern Weddings, Soirees Southern Events, 100 Layer Cake, The Atlantan Bride and more. Really, a big smile from our mommas-of-the-brides makes us pretty proud.
Location/coverage: Georgia
How I got into weddings: Like many others, I LOVED planning my own wedding. No detail was too tiny for me to think about for days-on-end. (I can only imagine what it would have been like had Pinterest existed.) When it was over, I definitely suffered from withdrawals. Fortunately, our photographer’s images found their way into some influential places, and we were soon overwhelmed by the interest in our wedding venue. The property owner agreed to host weddings at her family’s historic farm if I managed all of the details, and our partnership was born. It was a dream come true for my OCD and 14+ years of experience in the events & hospitality industry!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South: The fanfare of it all and seeing loved ones come together to celebrate. Southerners know how to have a good time and look fabulous doing it! The family traditions, the casual comfort, the personalized details, the elegance and the food (bacon!!!). It’s easy to feel the love.
Favorite part of a wedding day: The moment when you see all of the stress leave the bride and she realizes she’s exactly where she wants to be. Whether it’s hours before the ceremony or just before she walks down the aisle, the sense of calm that comes over her is just magical to experience.
Dream travel destination: South Africa
Favorite Southern city: All of the charming little towns on the South’s best back roads.
Pie bar or red velvet cake? Does banana pudding count as pie?
