Favorite thing about weddings in the South: The best thing besides the food is the scenery. From the marshes of the coast to the beaches of Florida to the plantations and farms in Georgia, the landscape is truly beautiful and always make a great setting for a celebration!
Favorite part of a wedding day: I love when the bride & groom are getting ready and all the anticipation leading up to seeing each other for the first time. But, my favorite moments are when the bride & groom are alone for their photos and soaking up the day and the fact that they are married! It is such an intimate time to capture the two of them together and it gives them a few moments to reflect on the day without any interruptions.
Pie bar or red velvet cake? Pie bar! I’m a midwestern girl and grew up on pies. Apple is my favorite!
Succulents or peonies? Hmm, I’d have to say both given my studio locations – succulents & wildflowers in the desert and peonies in the south. Ranunculus are also a big favorite behind peonies.
